have got to know about this...

I was wondering about an insurance quote from Progressive I received today.
I have a quote on an '09 Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob for $56.49 a month, or $647 a year. Is that worth it or should I keep looking. I am 23 with clear DL history.

Thoughts?

Mine is a little higher - 90 bucks a month for an '02 Fatboy, 70 per for an '06 Electra Glide. That is full coverage, higher limits, State farm. And I am on the far side of 49, and have a clean record,

Make sure it is apples and apples, lots of agents quote a lower price, then after you get it, you find out that the coverage is not equal.
Yeah, Progressive quoted me $647/year with basic full coverage, nothing more. Out of 5 they're the cheapest I have talked to yet, and that is with a $500 deductible.

It all depends on where you live. Rates will vary hugely from one person to another and a big factor is the location of your primary residence where the bike will be kept. Being inside the Houston city limits is a big factor. Your rate is reasonable for a city/suburban location, but on the high side for someone living in a rural or small town area.
