I was wondering if anyone had any references for some manual laborers. My driveway is about 400 yards long and lined on both sides with Oleander bushes, the honeysuckle has overgrown the bushes and they need to be cut down. The brush must be loaded on a lowboy and hauled to the beach. Also, I need two small 2 acre fields mowed, they are overgrown as well.

Just cutting them down won't get rid of them(oleanders). I have been trying to kill out 2 of them for 7 years. I got one finally but the other one is still hanging in there.I have cut the down below the ground and built a fire over them. Then covered them up. They came right back. I used some kind of weed killer on the stumps after I cut them and they still came back. The one that died I think it was just too old to live anymore.

I have a tractor mowing buisness. It might be something I would be interested in. Ususally about $35 per Hr. If you want all the bushes gone, I have a front loader. I could push them all up in a pile.

By dumping them on the beach I mean backfilling them in between the "geo tube" and our eroding property line. I'm a stern conservationist and wouldn't dump anything to harm the public good, but this eroding space would be an adequate space.

I'm not looking to totally kill the oleanders, they are beautiful bushes planted by my grandfather over 30 years ago. They grounds have not been properly maintained since the hurricane and the honeysuckle has overgrown them suffocating their nutrients and making the whole place look poor.

I'm looking for a group of laborers to spend a day removing the honeysuckle and cutting the oleanders down quite a bit. If anyone knows of a good reference in Galveston, Winnie or anywhere near where they would travel for cheap let me know. Work needs to be done now.
