Is Yamaha still making the Vmax 150 TRP? I heard they were abandoning TRP's altogether but don't know when. Too bad it didn't catch on with the bass guys to keep it going.

Still available

The TRP was produced in '04 on a limited basis for select dealers. The '05 lineup will include the DX150TRP available for all dealers again. Hopefully they will offer the F150 with the TRP gearcase in '06, it makes an awesome combination!

Speaking of trp's, I need someone to repair a few dings on my props. Seems I managed to put a nice ding in one blade last weekend! Suggestions please? I live in Wharton and need someone in the Houston area, the Victoria area or somewhere on the coast between Galveston and Corpus! Also, what kind of cost am I looking at to have a few dings fixed up.

Here at Ronnie's Marine we use Phil Schimdt with Performance Prop in Victoria- 361-578-3278. Being that this is a busy time for prop guys, it might take a a couple of weeks. I've got quite a few in stock if you need a new one, email me.

Thanks Capt lowtide. I'll give Phil a call. He's been referenced a lot. If I need a new one, I'll give you a call.

Four stroke

That's good news. I believe I'll wait until 06 to repower to see if they come out with a four stroke TRP. Man that would be an awesome combination!!
