I have Sirius in my truck and XM in the house. I kind of like them both. If I had to pick, HMMMM....Sirus. It was very easy to install. We got it at Best Buy for about 80 bucks. At the time they had a rebate and eventually you got it for free...(w/a $13 a mo. fee)
I can't comment on XM but I've had Sirius for three years now. Matter of fact I'm listening to Sirius as I type through their website. You can go to sirius.com for a free trial.
Sirius has all the stations I enjoy and the comedy stations are a hoot. I actually had to pull off the road two mornings ago from laughing so hard.
One item neither one tells you. Satellite Radio is just like having a cell phone. All those hidden taxes you see on your cell phone bill will also be on your satellite bill.
My first year with sirius was a special for $114.00 but when I got the bill is just over $200.00. I was told that Texas has the highest taxes of any state with cell phones and satellite radio.
Currently I have 3 years of service for about 80.00 a year because I got a free year with my new truck, just beware. Once you get it you'll never go again without it!
I was one of the first XM installs in SA years ago, but when NASCAR moves next season, so will I. Sirius also carries Big XII sports which will also be huge for me. I think the music stations are a wash between the two.
I have XM and have been happy with it but, when NASCAR to to Sirius so will I. I rent many cars from Hertz and they have Sirius so I am familiar with them and find there isn't much difference in XM and Sirius. I will miss "Hank's Place" however when I make the change.
Which one carries UT Football. My wife bleeds orange. Her clothes, bathingsuits, license plates, panties, fishing lures, etc.... If i got it and they cover any games, I would have to take it out.
