Am in need for someone near Crystal Beach to remove 3 aluminum windows and replace with vinyl DP-50 windows. Kitchen and 2 bath windows. Need a "replacement specialist", not a jackleg carpenter. I'm a jackleg. I need someone who knows what they are doing. If interested, PM me. Thanks.

will do. I have called KWT twice and went by their office in the big store once. They don't return calls or keep appts to look at the work required. Business must still be good down there.

I'm chasing down a lead on a guy supposedly out of Texas that specializes in window replacement. He even goes to Lafayette for jobs. I wlll definitely see if he's interested when I get his number and name.

Your going to be mad when you see how easy it is. Unless you need a two story ladder. Cut glass, pop out glass pieces. Put pry bar between frame and wall. Use something to protect wall from pry bar. They bend real easy and pop right out. Shim, level and screw in the new windows. Labor to remove and install, a specialist, will run around $150 a window.

Roger on that. I've done enough research to figure out that part already. I have some other issues, however, that make the job harder and 2 of the 3 windows are upstairs ladder work.
