You never know unless you go. My recent experience is that you better catch them early as the endangered GAR will take over the lake at 10:00 AM.

The early jigging bite for me has been SLOW. Since my wife’s battle with Covid I have had to take her in and drop her off about 8:30. My best bite has been midday since the second week of July and that hasn’t been anything to write home about. It’s been pretty tough around the midlake spots for the last 3 weeks. Hopefully we’ll get some rain soon.
