I am looking for any suggestions on getting a new rifle. No budget just something nice in Stainless Steel.

I already have .257 Weatherby Mag, .300 Ultra Mag, 7mm-08, and a .223.
I just want an awesome gun in stainless steel.

Any suggestions?

What do you want to do with it?? Looks like you have it covered with what you have.

..X2....If you want a screamer in a small caliber, check out a .204 Ruger. Basically a necked down .222 mag. Ballistics like 4000+ feet per second. A panhandle friend of mine says it will vaporize prairie poodles out about 400yds. I'm gonna have one some day. Fun gun to shoot, just a little light for anything larger than varmnts.

Looks like you have a wide range of great calibers already to fit most any hunting situation. You might get into a lever action gun, very fun to shoot and hunt with in certain situations. I have 3 lever guns in 3 calibers along with all my other rifles. I always take the old 30-30 lever on at least 1 hunt a year. It just is kinda deer hunting back in the early days of centerfire rifle ammo, very fun and different. They are deadly out to 125 to. I have taken deer with 30-30,357,and 44 lever guns just for a change up. I dont know why but man an old Marlin or Winchester feels good in a mans hands.

Sea Slug,

That's a great idea.Levers are really fun to shoot. Marlin makes some really cool calibers now that they've partnered up with Hornady. Plus with the spitzer leverevolution bullets they now have, those guns are no longer the short range guns they have been in the past.

You don't say what kind of hunting you do. If you are hunting those long South Texas senderos or a long pipeline or powerline ROW where long shots are possible think about a custom. Try a .284 Win in a Stiller or Lawton action with a Kreiger, Hart, Shilen, or a Brux barrel. Shooting 180gr bullets you are good to go to 900 yds if you have a good rest and good yardage ranging. My neighbor did 915 yds on a pig last year on a powerline ROW. It was at a feeder that he had ranged before. He keeps his comeups posted in the blind and dials up the scope to what he needs and holds dead on. Use a good 8-32 or 12-42 scope that is repeatable in dialing in different ranges. The .284 180gr bullet keeps 1000 ft/lb of energy past 900 yds which is considered to be adequate to kill a large deer. I realize this is not for everyone but is something that may be of interest to some.
