I'm taking a group of around 10-12 customers down for the weekend of Nov. 8th. Can anyone give me some good places to try and what to use as far as putting these people on some fish. We are not going to steal anyones honey hole as we all live in Houston and come down once a year.

All help is greatly appreciated, plus it will help me to look good.

Okay, maybe I asked a question I have no business asking.

For the Rockport area around the beginning of November, what is the bait or lures of choice for Redfish/Trout?

1. Do you have boats
2. How familiar are you with Rockport/Aransas
3. Artificial or bait
4. Fishing all together or separate groups/individuals
5. For lures, can't go wrong with a Redfish Magic with a Gulp on it. I just started using a Mann's Baby minus 1 with good luck.

Yes we have boats.
We know the areas, but not enough to know where we should be fishing.
Bait, whatever works best that time of year.
Going around together (4 boats)in the same general areas.

Cooler weather and water temps than now. Send me a PM about a week before you get down here. I will have some trips under my belt by then.

Bait really is not the question...If you find fish and put a well presented bait in front of there nose you have a 50/50 chance of catching them.. Drifting and covering alot of water is a good way to find fish.
Just like Tombo said its best to pm him before the trip as things change by the hour down there as far as where the fish are, you are more than welcome to pm me as well a few days out and I will let ya know as I will be spending lots of time in the Rockport area in November.
