I was planning to go to the freeport area Wen 6-28 in the afternoon 5 ish. I havent done much evening fishing and wonted to now a good place to wade fish. I will also be solo if anyone is interisted.

yesterday (Monday) MOB looked good, Surf was a bit off color to the third sand bar, swan lake brown, Drum bay brown, Christmas holding some desent water, Cole pass Green, SLP streaky inthe Freeport side but great on the Galveston side, south shore line of west bay brown but cleared in the mid bay, Surf on galveston side was green at the second sand bar on the west end of the sea wall and gettin sandier the farther east you go.

went out to dollar point early this morning just before sunrise to check out the wading possibilities. the wind was a little stiff out of the ne at about 14mph, and the water was was a little rough and off color. the tide chart didn't offer any good news, either, so i decided not to get wet.
