I'm in the Sweeny area and not sure what to do with my boat. I'm not planning on leaving, work won't let me until 8 hours prior to land fall and that will be too late anyway in my opinion. Anyway, I have an 18 foot Marshall Flats boat and am thinking of putting it in the middle of my yard where there are not trees that can possible get it and pull the plug on it. My uncle is chaining his to a tree. What do you guys do? Thanks

Steel fence post drive them all the way down and tie off your boat to them I would use 6 or 8 of them. and pray. Best of luck and god bless.

Fill it full of water.

Undo the battery and fill it full of water.

Use mobile home tie down stakes (or t-posts as suggested) screwed in at an angle and heavy duty nylon straps. Some boat trailers may not be able to handle the weight if the boat is filled with water.
