I've caught 30lb black fin that fought like a 100lb yellow fin.

if a 100# yft fought like a 15# bft you wouldn't be able to stop him. remember the question is pound for pound

Have not had the thrill of catching a Bill Fish or a Tuna yet but I stand by my opinion.LOL

i mean as if all the fish were say 15lbs..... i know its hard to see a 15lb billfish but bare with me. so would a 15lb snapper not pull harder than a 15lb amber...see what im getting at. im just trying to get the biggest pull i can

I'd agree. Well, I did. JC's are OFTEN caught in shallower water than AJs and further from structure, and run a bit smaller on average - I think JCs are as strong or stronger, but you'd have a close contest, IMO.
