My buddies just got back from grabbing the last bit of things from there beach house. They went around the West End and witnessed the water over most of the docks on the canal side. They saw a pontoon boat floating around in a canal. Even witnessed numerous boats in slings almost coming out that weren't raised up high enough.

I beleive my in-laws are about to lose a really nice beach cabin on Bolivar...19' storm surge expected.

Probably a lot of slinged boats gonna float, water il get high. Glad they ain't mine. (friends coulda lashed 'em) jk...glad they are out of there

Went down yesterday and secured a friends stuff. I saw tons of boats sitting in slings not near high enough or on trailers. I don't believe they make a sling high enough though. This is gonna change the face of the West end for awhile.

Snake Island Pass, right through Sunset Cove and thier illegal canals, or ponds as they call them, into Snake Island Cove. I don't want it to happen, but I have been afraid it would since it was built.
