Forget the weather man.....Noaa is calling for 2-3 sat but 60+mi is 4-6 ....bouyweather is in the groove at 3-4 chance of T-storms. Earl looks like he will be way south if anything remains after crossing Mexico.
Sheezs I think I am gonna go ahead and pack up for a over nighter and see what happens
I will be around the 100 fath curve with Plugger if you want me.

Money on Fishing

As rough as it has been the last couple of Saturday's, I am putting my money on it being nice this weekend. I am thinking 8-10mph breezes and well spaced 1-2 footers. The fish out deep will be stacked up as they have had a break the last couple of weekends. That's my 2 cents worth.... my fingers are crossed and my breath is held... just gotta get on some fish this weekend!

I am hoping to run on Sunday if the weather holds. Rocks and wrecks 45 to 55 out of Galveston.

If it blows 12 to 15 Thrus. thru Saturday, Sunday should be sporty. My bet is that the winds are lighter than predicted, and Sunday will be decent.

At this point, I am looking for crew. PM me if anyone is interested. This will be a dawn to dusk kinda deal starting and ending in Bolivar.

Got a charity auction trip planned on a Donzi

I pitched-in with a buddy and two other guys and we won a trip at his church's auction, trip donated by another church member. Out of Freeport Sat, on a big Donzi, eat and stay at Donzi owner's beach house Sat Nite. Hope the Buoyweather.com forecast changes.

What forecast are you guys looking at? I am reading the NOAA 20 to 60 mile and Flower Gardens forecast from this morning talking 2 to 4 on Sat. and 2 to 3 Sunday. Not that I would go to the Gardens, but I read the forecasts.

Lil Bert is a beat up, old Bertram 28.

Joker - don't jinx me with that hot engine talk. Having done the remove, repair, re-install of one of the trannies on the water immediately before the Port O. event, I was not planning any more major work til winter. Then, major changes hopefully are in store.
