Headed out of GYB Tuesday. Any reports of good weed lines headed South?

We went out of San Luis Pass on Saturday and found a nice weedline about 10 miles east of VA FOGG. Ended up putting some young ones on 30 or so chicken and a 11 lb. female. It was good enough to troll, and saw lots of flying fish. Tripple tail were thick as well. Good luck.

East of Freeport

Was out of Freeport just ~ 3nm west of the Fogg on Friday. There was a good line starting to form, but just a couple of patches holding dorado's. Caught a few in the 5-8 lb range with others smaller.

What is the best way to fish weedline. I have trolled the "clean side" with not much luck. And I have looked all around weedlines for fish/bait fish and seem to not see many.

I was wondering if anyone might and a few tips that would be will to share.

I was almost due South of Freeport Friday appox. 40nm out working a decent one. It was very large but somewhat disorganized. Tons of chickens hanging around with one decent bigger one taken on the troll. Did spend a lot of time cleaning lines while trolling but by far the best one I have seen this year.
