Hmm, I can't tell what the weather is like in High Island. The advisories are still in place, but I'm hearing the sun is shining. Can one of you stick your head out the window and give me the real forecast? (Dern' weathermen.)

I still may make the trip down from Dallas

I am in LaMarque ( not far away ). It is sunny and hot. We haven't had a drop of rain. I spent all day yesterday at the dike in TexasCity, tides were higher than normal it was a little windy. I don't think weather will be a concern unless it stalls or something. The bullreds are thick.

I'll be down there tomorrow morning trying to catch a few big Reds.

Stop by and say Hi if you see a red Dodge Dakota four door. Should be about two miles past the barricades.

This is killing me ....

The surfcams all along Galveston show sunshine and flat surf? Is it really so? Weather.com is showing it as raining.
