my in-laws bugged out to florida in front of ike. i've spoken with them a few times since the storm hit, and they have said that the "news" over there is reporting human bodies are washing up on the beaches in galveston and the surrounding areas, and that is why some of the island was off-limits to everyone for a while. the "news" reported that the bodies are of cubans who were carried out to sea when ike hit there.
is there any truth to this or has the "rumor mill" engaged to warp-speed? i've also heard that the tiger that was on the loose, was never on the loose and it was still caged and in fine shape...
