They have the warning for the beach front but what does this mean for the bays I would think the numbers would be higher in the bay systems than on the beach front. I haven't seen a thing about the bays.

Contact Galveston County Health District direct about your concerns

I would suggest any and all folks who plan on fishing, wading, or playing in our baywaters in the near future to address their questions and concerns to the Galveston County Health District directly. Since these are the folks conducting the testing of the waters and bacteria levels, I think they would be the best folks to ask. Below is their website.

Hey Shawn, you want to make an early morning run on Thursday? I'm thinking 5-10 or something along those lines. Get in and find some fishies - out by 9 or 10 and at work by 1. Interested?

There were some news reports on the radio this morning stating that bateria levels are now safe. Does anyone else find the timing of this a bit suspicious?:rolleyes:

Suspicious? Naw not at all LOL!

Surely they wouldnt be thinking of $$$$$$$ for this weekend. Honestly Id like to see em all fall on thier faces. I hope a rain cloud sits right on top of the island from thursday at 3pm till monday afternoon. They have made thier bed, now Id like to see em sleep in it.
