Walk-in wade fish areas

I had the chance to head to East Matty to wade fish yesterday morning and we had a great time. 5 keeper trout and 2 limits of solid 22-24” reds on artificial. We left the reds biting after releasing 2 more limits of fish around the same size. Lots of undersized trout were also caught.
We came in off the beach and fished the back lakes that way.

I live in Victoria and it was just under a 2 hr drive after a quick stop until we got in the water.
I have fished POC areas, but other then those 2, where are some other good places to walk-in Wade?
I have heard indianola or magnolia area but never waded into those. Are there good spots in the Aransas refuge? Or do they have times when you can get in?

I would like to find somewhere closer to Victoria.

Thanks in advance

Here's a google map that has access points for wade fishing (and kayaking): https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/e...t?mid=1J5sWAHEGd_BVXyddwjdG5uojp7k&ll=28.52926918647141,-96.62722116681668&z=11

Some spots are good for both, but others are strictly for launching a a kayak.

6 Mile on the west end of Port Lavaca Bay is a good spot. Same for Bauer Rd. You can wade Port Lavaca Bay from Magnolia through Indianola. The marshes around Indianola are pretty soft and Powderhorn are pretty soft. Olivia has decent wade fishing as well, popular kayak launch.
ANWR allows wade fishing from April 15 - Oct 15 (when Whooping Cranes aren't present). It think it's like $3 per person.
