Had a great group of folks out yesterday that had their 9 year old Son (Blake) down for their first trip saltwater fishing. Blake started the day off with the first trout in the box at 22 inches. It was not a fast bite but a steady bite most of the day. The Dad (Charls) caught a nice 23 inch trout that was the biggest trout of the day netted. We did head out to the surf and fished it with not as good of luck. Where we was the water was clear and not much bait to be found so we made the decision to head back into the bay where we had been catching a few fish. Ended the day with 22 Trout 17 to 23 inches with 2 fish that came off that was over 26 or 27 inches
and 1 Red at 23 inches. We also caught a Red with no spot on his tail that was 19 inches that I have pics of. Things are starting to look better so let's all keep our fingers crossed that we do not get tons of rain to reverse this.
