My vet recommended Nutro brands over Science Diet, easier on the stomach and digests better. And you can check their website for recall info. They recalled and held off manufacturing the small bags for a few months when the quality of the food material wasn't up to their standards. Not that they weren't safe, just not up to their higher standards.
