Buddy of mine asks what I think of a 1987 proline 20'. Has a full transom with a gil bracket, 120 johnson. Boat is very clean, owner says no stinger or transom problems. Are they wet riding, do they track well (has no bottom strakes). Any one with knowledge of this hull or similiar, notched transom 20' models let me know what you think thanks.

I had a 1991 20fter that was a good dry riding boat. It handles chop very well and is a relatively heavy boat for its size. I had mine in some stuff I probably should not have been in (3-5s) but made it out with everything entact. The previous owner to mine did some work to the transom as it had a little flex and I've heard this a normal deal with these proline boats. The only thing I didn't like about those boat was that they are just ugly as sin! Usually though for the money they are well worth it
