Visited Thompson's Bait Camp today on Trinity Bay and talked to one of the owners. They definitely will not be open anytime in the near future. They have a lot of cleanup and damage to repair. He mentioned that they may not be able to open at all until next year.

Roseland Park in Baytown, Gou Hole are both open.

Boaters returning from Trinity Bay at the Roseland Park ramp report some but very little visible debri in the water.

Water was reported to be a little off color, but not too bad.

Going out tommorrow, will post a report on the fishing report blog.

I was there last Saturday. All the main markers for the river are gone, but they have long poles in their place with colored flags. It easy to get out of the river. Stay in the boat. Lots of gators there, even saw a big one just sunning.
Needless to say, debris in the water. If your running hot, do not take yours off the water in front of you.

Boat ride

Thompson is closed, the property is barricaded off, The ramp is not open.

The ride from Roseland is only about 15 minutes and the channel is clear.
