My brother and myself drove all the way from Kemah to Anahauc to launch on the opposite side of the bay, but it paid off this morning! We weren't about to chance cutting across the bay w/ all the debris out there and the chance of increasing wind. We had two limits of nice trout and about a dozen sandies mixed in as well. I caught two big trout on this spoon w/ a trailer on, I can't remember whats it's called, but it worked well and my brother used a glow w/ chartreuse tail gulp. We fished from 8 till noon, chasing birds non-stop unit the wind got too intense. There was some debris, big pieces of piers or houses and some other things like poles and trees, but we went fairly slow and did just fine.

Kemaguy, Thanks for the report. It "forced" me and birdman to head that way this morning, dodging thunderstorms, lightening, etc. and we still managed 14 nice trout and 2 reds. Probably caught and released a hundred dinks. All on spoons and/or soft plastics. Lots of fun.
