[Legate]

For those that don't know, I, (David Legate), have been working hard to reastablish myself as a Houston musician once again. I worked the West side of Houston for years performing at clubs i can no longer remember, and venues that are no longer available. I am working now to revive my name on the west end of Houston.. I tried down south, (Kemah, Clear Lake, ect), and it seems futile.. It is hard, after all these years of abstenence to try to make a name for yourself when you've been away for so long.. Club owners with live music are few and far between i have found.. Especially on the South side..

Regardless, I have found some venues on the west end of Houston !.. This weekend, (Sunday, the 12th), at Jumps Bar and Grille, we will be performing our best stuff for anyone who will listen..

Did you try Linda over at The Sandbar? She has live music on weekends.....and a mixed crowd 18-80........Seems like it would be the type of crowd you like to play to. Just an idea.

That's such great news to read!

Some time ago you and I posted to one another about your music. You have a passion for your music and it's great that you're putting some time into it again.

Musicians who take time off to later return, more mature, more mellowed and full of music that's now bursting to get out...very often become a big hit.

I think I asked before, but if you have a tape of you music I'd sure love to hear it.

I see your horizons suddenly expanding! You're to be congratulated!

Unfortunately, it doesn't contain the song you liked of mine called "Will you remember me", but i plan to record a CD of just my originals with Randy and Larry (MLC, Mid life Crisis) soon, and that song of course will be included.
