I have a a bottle of the U-40 High Build that the resin part is super thick and will not mix for anything. My rod building room is inside the house so its not a temperature issue I think. The Hardener is fine and has remained thin and pourable. Whenever I mix up a batch, it remains yellowish and is full of tiny tiny bubbles, should I just chalk it up to a bad batch? I have other finish and had bought a small bottle of the Trondak to check it out.

WHOA! U-40 High Build is SUPPOSED to be extra thick. Almost like mud. You can warm it just to make sure but it is the heaviest, thickest, epoxy on the market. Very, very, very, very thick in terms of the resin. It is hard to mix at first but will blend in a few minutes. Very, very, very thick and heavy. That is how it is supposed to be.
