Do you think an 24 volt 80 or 82lb thrust TM would be enough for a 24' boat with a T-Top?

Thanks

Had to go with a 36v (24 ft. boat w/ t-top) when its windy. Don't worry about going slow enough, worry about going forward with more power.

I just purchased a new 2400 Pure Bay and put a 36V on it but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I'll let you know when I get the boat rigged out.

I Have a 09 Pure Bay 2200 and i run a riptide 80# thrust. On a 24 i would probably run the 101 rip tide. Definately think about the windy days being able to cut the headwind.

The 82lb Motorguide on my 24' HO is pretty much useless. I will be going to a 36v before March. Coming from a bass fishing background I'm lost without a trolling what few times I actually fish out of the boat.

I run a 24' high sided skiff that acts like a wind sock and my 82#er works fine.
