I guess it's no secret to those fishing Trinity, but trout are just about anywhere you go. My daughters boyfriend and I have worn ourselves out on two morning trips. We now have 40 trout in the freezer minus about six we ate last night. We are throwing hogie pearl / green shrimp tails and 3/8 ounce heads. Some good trout are under the birds, but we caught most drifting 150 yards from shore from HL&P back to Dows. Keying on bait fish and shrimp jumping. Nice to limit before 10:00am.

Haven't had much luck on attachments, but if all goes well my phone got the ice chest full of 16 to 22" trout.

Way to go big guy

Sounds like a lot of fun.

It is Sunday and I'm here at ready to take off.

Wouldn't you know it. The fishing is busting wide open all over the place and I've been working 7 days a week now 10 to 12 hrs a day for 2 weeks now and will be until the end of the month.

Did take off early Friday and took the wife to the beach.

Caught only 1 trout but there were 2 huge flock of gulls working past the 4th sand bar.

There were tarpon busting like crazy under the birds. Saw one 4 footer leap way out of the water about 100 yrs from me.
Awsom site.

See ya.

Gator Big Boy, you know better than that. I've fished Hannas twice in my 40 years on Trinity. It wasn't this weekend. Come by Thompsons Tuesday night and take a look at my tournament check. I'll by you a soda.

Mullet, your always welcome on my boat, it's not like you haven't been on it before. Call my cell if you want a limit this afternoon between 6:00 and 8:00. I'm not being cocky, just have some fish located for once.

I don't fish them all. Just have to stay in the top 25 to make the classic. That's were the big money comes in. I placed 3rd last year and will be 1rst this one. I will it be.

I've got the same family issues. 15+ pounds three fish biggest stringer so far. Bob Johnson of Reynolds Marine. He's getting real good.

Bob

Yea, he is getting pretty dang good. Must be the boat he is running:) .lol I have had several conversations with him about this tournament. He was the one who initially pushed hard for me to join it. Now I think he just wanted more of my money. lol As if I havent already bought 3 boats from him. HaHaHa
