Went to Trinity with a few friends and caught several trout wading 2.5' to 3' of water. The conditions were great. Its started off cloudy and overcast. As the day progressed the sun began to peek through with the wind coming to a hault. The bite started early and ended late. We released several trout in the 5 to 6lb range. Most fish were caught on topwaters although avocado/orange tail corky devils were pretty hot. Note: While wading we could see several flocks of birds in the distance and all seemed to be holding together for quite some time. When we got back to the ramp we saw several coolers with solid trout. Needless to say Trinity Bay is HOT HOT!! Tight Lines! -SA

Trinity Bay is so friggin hot!!!

We went back to Trinity the very next day. We fished the same exact spot with the same exact outcome. Again we caught several in the 5 to 6Lb range. All but two fish were released. The two fish I'm holding swallowed a corky devil and couldn't be revived (It happens). We released two fish that hit the 7Lb Boga mark and lost a few REALLY good ones. Again all fish were caught on Topwaters (Super Spooks) and Corky Devils (Avocado/Orange Tail) in about 3' of water over shell/mud. You can find BIG FISH in Trinity Bay right now if you what to look for.

Tight Lines!
