After I pulled my boat out for IKE, I noticed the rear axel
sits about an inch or 2 lower than the forward axel. There
is a pivot arm which connects the springs on each side,
and the pivot arm is extended, allowing this to occur. Is this
a normal thing that perhaps I have just noticed? Thanks.

I talked with McClain and wanted to post a quick follow up. This is a normal situation,
the pivot arm I was referring to is called a spring hanger. They said the spring hanger should return back to a nominal position when I unload the boat and that it was not an unsafe condition. Regardless, I do think in the near future I am going to replace the springs.
