Was there a tournament going on in the Arnasas Pass, Port A, Rockport area today?

Tried to take the wife and oldest daughter fishing today. Didn't even make it in the water with the boat before I was almost run over by 4 guys launching a 25' Mowdy in Ingleside. Great weather, had a good time, not many fish.

We left Rockport yesterday morning and the wife heard that there were four tournaments in the the Rockport area.

Thanks. That explains all the extra boats on the water and the rush this group of guys were in to get launched. They acted like if I got my boat in the water before them, I would beat them to their spot. Ramp at Ingleside has 2 slots with a divider that will ruin an axle. I am always slow and careful. I've seen, on more than one occasion, a boat on a trailer being put on a flatbed wrecker to have the axle repaired because they straddled the concrete in the ramp.
