Guy and Mrs. B,

It's better than cute. I think the faith of a child is something glorious to ponder. My first memory of life is lying in a crib completely at peace. No worry, no fear. I felt I was in a new place but my "real" home was very close. This remains very vivid in my memory. Over the years satan did his thing in my life but some glorious day I shall return home. I'm curious what the earliest recollection of life is for others. My sister doesn't remember anything before grade school.

Priceless!!

I get really touched when I see my 4-1/2 year old daughter teaching her baby dolls that "Jesus died on the cross for us." She doesn't really know why, but, she knows she needs to teach her babies. Then she will start teaching them "made up" songs about Jesus and God.

My five year old daughter sat our associate pastor down a couple of weeks ago and explained to him how there is one God, but three parts to God. Somehow her mind has completly grasped something that many of us struggle with.

We were at my sons baseball game a while back and a kid (baserunner) was beaned in the thigh with a line drive. My son was playing third base when this happened. Play had completely stopped and we look over at him and he is down on his knees playing in the dirt. When the boys came into the dugout his coach got on to him for playing. He looked at the coach and explains to him that the boy looked hurt and he was simply on his knees praying for the boy. I am amazed at the heart that God has given my 10 year old and my 5 year old. My two year old is another story all togeher, a work in progress I suppose.
