Thursday, June 15th, 2006 - North Jetty

Dewey and I took Wayne out with us to the Jetty this morning. The water was beautiful with clarity to about 6 foot. We fished on the outside of the end of the jetty during a strong outgoing tide. We also spent all of our time right at the rocks so Dewey and Wayne could try for thier "Star Tournament Trout." Didn't work out that way though - they did pick up several Spanish Macs for their efforts though.

We ended up with 20-25 Sharpnose Shark - several Spanish Macs - 1 Ugly Dog Fish and 1 Bull Red. We also caught a couple of larger Shark that I am not sure what type they were. I put a pick of one below. They were much stronger than the Sharpnose - much thicker too. If you know what kind of shark it is - let me know!

We did see a water spout - pic is below..

We fished with cut shad, cut mullet, live croaker and live shrimp. All in all - it was a great day - and again - water was beautiful.

More pics and details are on blog: http://daparsonfishing.blogspot.com/
