I doubt too much of it is true....it's a Green Party website, so they automatically despise Republicans and blame them for everything. These are people who make CNN look like they have a strong conservative bias!
That said, I wouldn't cry if they put a hotel in a state park. No different than having a hotel on the beach, except that they won't be trying to close the park to the public!
If it's done correctly It should be a good thing. It will be one less thing the government will have to use it's tax money to fund. A step in the right direction if you ask me, that is if the builder doesn't try and put some huge skyscraping building and keeps it so it complements the scenery.
Isn't this esentially how the resorts in colorado work?
There are many hotels, etc. in state parks here in CO. Then again, about 50% of the state is state park here. And camping isn't a very good idea in the mountains in the winter, I'm sure! Hotels are a necessity!
