Even with all the acorns on the ground, they're coming in.

We set up this feeder and camera 2 saturdays ago. They're not hitting it every day, but they found it, and know where it is now...15 yards from where the bow stand is.

I'm aging the bucks at 2.5 -3.5 max. Maybe grandpa will show up during the rut...

Looks promising for sure. I like the Oaks to the left. Looks like you could get a pop-up or tripod in there and have lots of back cover.
That's where it will be. The longest shot in this clearing is 25 yards.

There are 4 trails that lead into it. I had a good feeling about the spot when we started scouting a little over a month ago. It's secluded, and the wind should be ok whether it is out of the south or the north.

looks good! love all those oaks! what county you in??
7 miles north of D'Hanis in Medina County. The area is a transition zone between South Texas Brush Country and the Hill Country.

We've got Oaks, Mesquite, Cedar, Black Brush, Guajillo... a little bit of everything.
