Looks like the goose hunting has taking a turn for the better. We have been having some good hunts with dark geese but with the weather getting right and the birds feeding in a milo field we finnaly got into the snows. Monday the morning started off strong with the canadas and specks covering us up early in the hunt. It took less than 30 minutes to have a seven man limit of canads. We saw more canada geese than I have ever seen on the prairie. We were done on specks shortly after that. With a seven man limit of darks and 30 snows we ended mondays hunt with 65 birds. With the conditions looking to be the same on tuesday we got on the phone and rounded up some seasonal members and went after them again. Tuesdays hunt started a little slower after all i had sat up within 100 yards of were we had hunted on monday. The canadas were back and we managed to take 12 and 9 specks before the fog started to break. When the fog started to lift @ 10 am the snows started to decoy and we managed 39 before we decidied to call the hunt at noon with a total of 60 birds.
