Well, I guess this could become a postive thing if we all take some reasonable security measures. These have been listed in threads before but here they are again in case someone missed them.

If you think you might have a virus, go online to help detect and remove. It should be noted that some virus take action to disable your antivirus software.
This RAV, a good online scanner.

OK, so that is a very good starting point and if you pass these tests you should have very little problems surfing the web. I could suggest several programs to block cookies, adware, spamware and junk (spam) mail. If anyone is interested let me know.

Thanks Bill for the info. We all need to be very carefull now......Glad Mont has everything back on. I was getting bored very quick with the other board.....LOL

a very good program for reducing spam mail is called Mailwasher.

It is free and millions of people use it, so there is pretty good support if ever needed.
