Kinda late report, jumped about a 100lb tarpon 100yards off beachfront Wed. pm what a beautiful sight, waist deep water on second bar near the old pier in surfside. Took off with my chartruse mirro-lure lol. Great 20 sec fight on trout rod 12lb test. Caught several big spanish macs and a couple of blacktips believe it or not, great day in the water.

I saw three tarpon yesterday, Thursday evening, near the surfside jetty while wade fishing. They were busting bait. I through my topwater right over them but they did'nt hit it.
