I Fished Galveston area all day Sunday without a single sight of tarpon. Covered lots of ground trolling and hanging around the jetties. Eventually lost all my live mullet (about 20 or so) to sharks.
I am sure they are probably around, I just need to get more familiar with Tarpon fishing in Galveston.
