I am itching to go fishing and it looks like the weekend will allow it. Havent gone **** hunting in awhile. up at A&M. didnt want to pry any info out but wanted to see if any have been sited along the galveston beachfront?

I might just trailer my whaler down to palacious and stay at a buddy's place.

I don't think there has been too much activity along the Galveston Beachfront since Ike...or any other beachfront this side of Sargent. Before Ike, there were some fish off POC, and to the south. I've heard a few reports of small fish around the Port A jetties.

POC was SSSLLLLOOOOWWWW this weekend. We jumped one fish. Everything was acting very lethargic.

well,

I guess i am going to have to hit some rigs up out of the colorado river and then fish west matty the rest of the weekend. I am sure that matagorda is going to get a lot of pressure from here on out. The surf might be where its at. I am just excited to put the boat in the water with the hope of catching something to throw on the grill.
