Here's the deal.
Got a 28 Bert with twin 351's and they have the old points style distributors. Having problems with one, so I've decided to switch to the electric style distributor.
Yes, I have a Mallory Marine distributor already, but I was wondering about the coil. Do I need a different coil or not? I'm sure I do, but is there a difference between marine and automotive coils?
I know there is a difference in the distributor itself for spark arrest.
Thanks in advanced for any help.
I'll be able to check back on monday.
