U should have ice them down really good and just clean in the am .....I do it all the time taste just as fresh as long as you don't freeze them .....and that batter is good but the shrimp fry one is better egg wash a healthy squirt of mustard and then batter in the shrimp fry

Daughter called yesterday wanting me to take them this weekend and pulled up surf recon and it was green to beach.How come no reports, is it TOO clear. Someone tell me something please>>>
Beach fished Stuart Monday, water was real clear. Got Skunked. No birds, no bait fish in the surf. 20 people fishing within eyesight and one guy caught a 16" bonnet.
Not even a slimmy Gaftop was caught......still a great day on the water!
Fished yesterday morning in an undisclosed location on Galvez beach. Caught 2 keepers and about 15 undersized on lures. Wouldn’t even look at a top water.
