At Academy yesterday and grabbed some Sufix 20# and when I looked at it today and it says Sufix Prformance STRETCH Braid. 8 lb mono equivalent size.

Has Dyeema/Dacron Blend for 6% stretch in the line.

Anyone tried it? Thoughts on the product.

Hope that Sufix has not changed up their product. Gotten too use to not putting a hard hook set except for flounder.

Jim,
It's a fine product. It is offered as an addition to their standard braid product line.
We don't carry Suffix, but we sell the FINS line and they also offer a similar product described as "Shock Absorbing". It's a "blend" line with about 10% stretch.

We have a quite a few customers that have used the line when moving over from mono to braid and really like it a lot and are sticking to it.

I'm used to the feel of standard braid, so I use the FINS PRT and Windtamer products.

Give the Stretch a try and let us know.

What have you done to your drag setting for this line?

I used to run mono a lot different than the straight braid.
