Just wondering if there's anyone else stuck at work today? Must be a Monday to be this nice outside! Thinking bout heading outta here early and making a few wades on some San Antonio bay shell, course the bossman ain't gonna be happy about it! So anyone else stuck and drooling over this awesome weather?

Sucks don't it?

Spent the weekend stuck in a deer camp trailer near Freer watching it rain all weekend. So much for quail hunting. Drive home to Houston in Chamber of Commerce weather and it's gorgeous again today....what did I do wrong?

I'm stuck at work, but will be off until saturday night after today. Only problem is tomorrow is the last day of sunny weather then rain for the rest of the week. My boat won't be back from the shop till the rain starts up. YEAH!!!!!!! So when does the rainy season end?

just keep telling yourself it's one of those days that looks good from the office but really isn't on the water. high pressure, wind has some west in it. might be nice to get out and feel the sun and wind, but the fish aren't biting... at least that's what i keep telling myself.

Went to Academy on my lunch break. Bought some stuff for this weekend, I'm going Crappie fishing with my Uncle at Lake Ray Roberts. Never fished it before.

I went out today to put some hours on the boat and it was beautiful from inside but it was blowing up here in Galveston out of the NE 15-20. I ran two hours and it was ROUGH! Water looked terrible everywhere we went and it was a bit on the cold side. There, feel better! lol

Left work a little early yesterday and headed down to seadrift. Hooked the boat up and headed to Charlies. Blasted across a semi smooth bay at 50mph and was making my first cast by 4.45. Caught several small trout on a spook jr. Stepped up to a shedog and picked up two decent fish (17in) in about 20 mins. Switched again to a dayglo fatboy and picked up a red at 26. Watched an awesome sunset as I cruised back to the ramp. NICE AFTERNOON!

glad you got to stick a few on top.......sweet.........a tad bit jealous, that you could swing a work day trip, while I was stuck in my Dilbert cubicle, until 7 last night......
