Hey guys, has anyone ever seen a king like this. We caught this one about a week and a half ago. Its almost like something is missing from it.. Maybe its just me, but its an odd looking fish to me. Lol..
No, really, I took a buddy of mine out for the first time offshore and the snapper bite was a little slow. What better to get someone hooked on offshore fishing than to troll into some nice kings. We started trolling and had a run right off the bat. It screamed for a good long run and stopped. Jake grabbed the reel and turned the fishand said he wasn't fighting at all. I said they have a few good runs in them, but they aren't tough to get to the boat once they get them out of their system. When he got to the boat, it was half missing. How the heck can a shark catch a king that is running at thet speed. I dont know, but it did. Well after a picture, I explained to him that he just couldn't do anything right, He couldn't even catch a whole fish.. Lol. Well I got another angler a good case of offshore fever..
