The last one I shot at Fort Anahuac, I used 28-135mm lense, f5.6 1/200 metering mode "matrix" and auto white balance. I made sure not to aim directly into the sun. It was very overcast that day so the amount of clouds and open sky could make a difference. This was at sunset.

Camera storm settings.....Its the icon that shows a little man bending over and kissing.......well you get the idea....:slimer: Just kidding buddy.....I have in the past used AV, F8-10, ISO 200-400 and white balance on cloudy. I like to use a wide lens, to capture as much of the sky as I can. The lower the mm # the wider the lens ie. Tokina 12-24mm. Meter just where the sun (if any) is just out of the view finder, press the shutter button half way, then keeping the button pressed half way recompose for the shot you want and press the shutter button all the way to take the shot.

Hope this helps
