people please report store openings in the area and maybe put what they have ice, gas, food. I am in santa fe, my father is looking for a stores so i'll will soon post some. thanks fellow texans.

Not much help to you but. Brazoria has Stewarts(food store) also the donut store by there was open this morning. Subway and red top by there had power but no update on if there open. and a gas station is open by the south Bucee's( by Davis auto shop) Don't think they have gas(no power) but he was open.

Lake Jackson. Down 332 going towards Surfside By the string of Hotels theres a Gas station open(no power). KNow he had ice last night. Ill give more updates as I see them.


Update. Lake Jackson Walmart had the gas station open but there was LONG lines.

gas stations chevron , and shell has ice on hwy 6 in santa fe are open but very packed and heb at 646 and 45 in bay colony is soon to open but is very packed

Krogers Gas Station at Beltway 8 and Sabo/Hughes (Southeast side of Houston) is open but you have to have a Krogers card and a credit/debit card...no cash sales and the lines are long.

Sounds like most HEB's are open now. The yjust ran a list of them down on TV.

My wife is driving from Houston to Aransas Pass on Highway 59 and said there is gas in Richmond/Rosenberg area (or slightly south of that). No lines. She did not have any trouble getting out of Houston from Beltway 8 / IH-10 area. Don

CVS

The CVS pharmacy on the corner of 1764 and Highway6 is open and had quite a bit of water but were short on beer. Imagine that, bunch of drunk hillbillies. lol Actually thats what I went in for. Almost ran out. The harder the wind blew the easier the beers went down.

little hint in avoiding pack stores i'll always go to a supertarget lots of cashiers and get what i need in and out pretty fast
