What pier? I'm on 11. I talked to some friends who went to check on the boats around 4pm. Said we had around 12' to go before we overtop the posts... Everything else looked fine. Said it felt strange to step UP to the dock!

Update: Those knuckleheads went back out there! Just got back. Said 2' of water in parking lot, all docks looked fine so far. 10' of pole left...

Anyone have a report? My buddies went during the eye, and all was well. They haven't been back yet... suspense is killing me!

JimG I am going to try and help you the best I can. My parents, Hooked, drove around and couldn't get down to the Harbor because the water was still high. They tried to get into Bacliff/San Leon area to check on our house and was turned away.

JimG -- we were down at the marina around 6:00. Water was still about waist high on the bulk head walkways although it had receded from earlier in the day. All the boats appear to have faired well. We are on pier 5 and I hope the water has subsided enough in the morning so we can get in. Will post up what we find.

We just returned from the marina. The water level is back to about 10 inches below the concrete/paver walkway. Still some water in the parking lot but receding rapidly.
We saw no damaged boats except for a few bimin's which people didn't remove and a couple jibs on sail boats worn ripped up.
We didn't walk all the piers just ours and one other but no damage seen.

Our boat, Change of Pace, faired very well! Looked like nothing happened. SSH is the BEST spot on the coast for weathering a 'cane! We went down yesterday, fired up the gen and took a shower. It was nice feeling normal for a couple of hours...

Thanks for all the reports.
