It just started raining at my house, and it is cool, but smells like spring rain. It feels like fall, but smells like spring, weird.

It smells like rain on a dusty road. Maybe it's bringing smells of west Texas.

I'm in Kingwood and having a shower just in front of the storm. Looks like everyone may get some rain tonight. Coming from the west for us north of I-10 and from the coast for south of I-10. Could be interesting when they meet, but the local news has not posted warnings, so probably just some lighting and rain.

Mont, I never knew that about the lightning and ozone. Pretty cool. I do know this front is predicted to have lightening, so you are probably correct.

If you haven't been out tonight, go take a peek, watch it come in, and smell that smell.
