a buddy of mine from the office and myself hit the slp surf after work yesterday and fished probably some of the best looking green water of the summer. caught 10 trout up to 19" on topdogs, plastics and mirrolures. had a great day on the water, espically for right after work.

hey blue water what part of slp did you fish i also fished there the same day but on the bay on the galveston side i think i might have seen you when we were leaving i was driving a green pickup where you in a tan ranger? we only hooked one flounder and one speck on mullet and shad

nope, i've got a '02 GMC 2500 HD crew cab 4x4. we were fishing right before the pass starts to bend in towards the bay on the galveston side. i did see the truck that you were talking about. i was really suprized by the # of specs in the water. i expected more.

i do remember seeing a gmc also crusing by the beach, im thinking of heading back this weekend but it all depends if work allows me and also if it aint to packed on the beach and bay
