I hit the surf this morning at Jamaica Beach. In the water throwing a black Super Spook before dawn. Threw tops, then 51M/catch 2000, Corky, silver spoon and got one hit on the spoon. No wind and the water was green to the beach. Didn't see much bait so I'm blaming the strike out on that.
Saw some nice fish caught on finger mullet in the first gut early, that's the usual pattern for this time of year.

No flounder in the surf but we've been seeing increased numbers from West bay.

Imagine that....b*tch when its ditry......b*tch when its clean. Just jokin.

I was out last monday and it was so clear I could see my feet in neck deep water, saw lots of bait jumping but none to be caught in the cast net cause of the clarity of the water. Oh well, better make the most of it.
